Using the site without an account
The readiness test, life cost calculator and excuse generator work without login. Results are stored with a random session identifier (kept in your browser) so your result link works. No name or email is collected unless you voluntarily enter a display name for your share card.
Account and player number
When you register we store your email address, an encrypted password, language/timezone, your player number, hype points, streaks, badges and your referral code. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Payments
The Founding Pass is processed by Stripe. Card and payment data are handled solely by Stripe; we only receive amount, currency, status and a payment reference. Details: stripe.com/privacy.
Emails
Transactional emails (confirmation, password reset, purchase receipt) are sent via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH). Your email address is transmitted to Brevo for this purpose.
Analytics
We record anonymous usage events (e.g. page view, test started, share clicked) with no advertising trackers and no sharing with ad networks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Hosting and infrastructure
The platform is hosted on Lovable/Cloudflare, database and authentication run on Supabase. Server logs contain technically necessary data such as IP address and timestamp.
Retention
Account data is stored while your account exists. Anonymous results and analytics events are deleted or aggregated after 24 months at the latest. Payment records are kept for the statutory retention period (10 years).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Just email hello@jointhewait.app; deleting your account also deletes your results. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Cookies
We only use strictly necessary cookies and local storage (login session, language choice, session identifier for results). No marketing tracking, therefore no cookie banner.
